When asked to write in their favorite blogs, Gawker Media titles topped the charts; Gen Y gravitates toward Gizmodo, Gawker, Lifehacker, Deadspin and Jezebel to stay informed.

L2 delved into the digital deftness of Gen Y, expanding on the "brand conscious, educated and upwardly mobile" cohort's engagement with and awareness of prestigious brands. Despite Gen Y's clear affinity for luxury brands, marketers for those brands are largely missing the boat in connecting with these potential (and existing) customers via digital channels.
