Jalopnik Editor-in-Chief Ray Wert called General Motor's new Chief Marketing Officer Joel Ewanick's bluff that GM will resurrect the El Camino if 100,000 fans say they want in.
The whole showdown started across the twittersphere when Wert welcomed Ewanick's debut. Not only did Wert urge others to follow the Ewanick, but he also playfully prompted followers to express their desire for a new El Camino. Ewanick accepted the challenge and now it's up to Jalopnik to rally up a big enough fan base to resurrect the American icon.
